I think that Matt does an outstanding job of explaining the facts about Ohio's survival and when, what, how, why we better show up, stand up, and speak up at church, at events, with family and friends! We must be willing to share this information with another who gives a response that is not an personal attack. We need to know this is tremendously important so that we can delay "Rome".

You are a clear supporter of Trump and Vance, proven liars, which makes your choices of source material suspect, unless you are shoring up your opinions, and ignoring facts on the ground. That is what I meant by opinion. Is is NOT an opinion that there is such a thing as “alternative facts”, which are what those candidates create from.

Stop watching MSNBC and CNN and maybe your Trump Derangement Syndrome will lessen. And, no, I don't watch Fox News or listen to talk radio. My opinions are my opinions, but when I cite facts, those facts are THE facts, not "facts" like the "fine people" hoax in which the media and people like you claimed for years that Donald Trump said white supremacists and neonazis were fine people when he specifically denigrated them after making the "fine people" comment. Cheers!

Haha! How do you know what I suffer from. I suffer only from having a different (sane) perspective on the Orange Menace. Maybe if YOU dropped truth social and Fox News, your gynophobia would heal

Omg that is hilarious!! Gynophobia 😂 As the dad of two very successful young women, I can assure you I have no fear of women—though I do fear women like you who use phrases like “the orange menace” (and capitalizing the O and M:-) clearly indicating something is askew. I don’t have truth social nor do I watch Fox News. You weren’t the lady screaming on her knees at his inauguration, were you? 😂

This is opinion, not fact.

Thank you Katherine for noting that my column is, in fact, an opinion column like 99% of the media's work--both its opinion pages and its "news" pages. If you regularly read my column, however, you will note the heavy use of data from government sources (i.e., jobs data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics) to back up what I say. Much of what I write also is backed up by the work of others like Hemingway and Devine. Thus, I'm not exactly clear on which part of this column you are opining about, but, if I've gotten something factually wrong, please let me know. Best, Matt
