The Left Lies Then Lies Again Like It Is a Genetic Predisposition

You can believe minorities are dumb, as the Left and media do, or you can believe as I do that Americans of all stripes are tuning out the Left and the media because they know they are lying.

Politicians lie. Republicans lie. Democrats lie. Independents lie. Sometimes the lies don’t matter like Ted Cruz’s ridiculous lie over his trip to Cancun, but often the lies have enormous impact on our body politic. The Russia collusion hoax lie did substantial damage to our country. So did the Charlottesville “fine people on both sides” lie. In the Donald Trump era, lying has reached a deeply troubling level, especially for the Left and the media. Though the Left and the media love to claim Trump lies constantly, I think it is more accurate to state that Trump says things that aren’t true, but that he either believes are true because someone told him it was (“every law professor wanted Roe overturned") or mere exaggerations (“greatest economy the world has ever seen”). When it comes to Trump, the Left and the media seem to believe lying is permissible if it hurts him and makes his election more unlikely. Adam Schiff and Joy Reid personify the Left’s and media’s lying ways. 

Unfortunately, they never seem to pay any price for their lying, so go on lying with reckless abandon.

The lying even involves irrefutable facts. Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and their media allies repeatedly claim that Trump grew the national debt more than any other president. Setting aside the fact that Trump had to deal with a global pandemic that shutdown America, its schools, and its businesses, from January 1, 2017, when Trump took office to January 1, 2021, when Joe Biden replaced him, the national debt grew by $7.9 billion. According to the Federal Reserve, from January 1, 2021, to September 30, 2024, the Biden-Harris Administration have grown the national debt by $7.7 billion, or just $0.2 billion less than Trump with three months remaining in their tenure. Now, claiming Trump set the record is fine if the Biden-Harris Administration plan to spend no more than $0.199 billion over the next three months, but that spending rate it literally impossible. In the forty-five months of their tenure, the Biden-Harris Team have added to the national debt on average $0.171 billion per month, which means they will have increased the national debt by roughly $8.21 billion in just four years DESPITE INHERITING A RECOVERING ECONOMY FROM TRUMP. 

As you know, the unnecessary massive spending spree launched by the Biden-Harris Administration caused rampant inflation and interest rates that have crushed Main Street America. It also blew the national debt north of $36 trillion, with interest on the national debt hitting over $1.158 trillion per year, which is a 30% jump from a year ago. The budget deficit for Fiscal Year 2024 surpassed $1.8 trillion, which is the largest ever outside of the pandemic era. Interest on the national debt is now greater than any other spending category, including national defense. Should Harris win the presidential election, you can guarantee spending will continue to run high to pay for the progressive Left’s wish list, including welfare for the ten million plus illegal immigrants the Biden-Harris Administration has allowed into America over the last four years.

Though Trump may increase spending, too, due to his pro-business policies on regulations, energy, and taxes, at least he will do so with a booming economy that will drive in higher levels of revenues to pay for a greater portion of the higher spending. With Harris, we are likely to get continued economic stagnation that comes with progressive government policies.

As the presidential election enters the last two weeks, the lies emanating from the Left and the media are becoming more extreme. Trump will use the military to roundup journalists. Trump will restore slavery. Trump is being blackmailed by Vladimir Putin. Trump is mentally unfit. Trump is the evil of Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini combined. I think the only slur left to claim is that Trump is the actual son of Satan himself.

Yet, based on the polls, Trump is winning. Thus, I need to correct what I wrote above that the Left and the media don’t pay a price for their lying. I actually think they do. For years, the Left and its media allies have droned on endlessly with Trump lies. Despite these lies, Trump stands on the precipice of getting the greatest share of the minority vote than any Republican since Richard Nixon in 1960. Either you can believe minorities are just dumb, as the Left and media do, or you can believe, as I do, that Americans of all stripes are increasingly tuning out the Left and the media because they know they are lying.
