Ohio Had the 3rd Most Overdose Deaths in America Last Year—Who Is to Blame and What Should Be Done?
How many more Americans will die, be maimed, or raped before our leaders get serious about dealing with China and Mexico? Enough is enough.
According to the Center for Disease Control, Ohio had the third most overdose deaths in America last year. Only Florida and Texas experienced a higher number of overdose deaths. The vast majority of these deaths are due to deadly levels of fentanyl being consumed solely or without the knowledge of it being added to other drugs. The fentanyl comes across the southern U.S. border from Mexico via the Mexican drug cartels who acquire the chemicals to make the fentanyl from China. As I see it, there are three entities responsible for this carnage being inflicted on America and its people.
First, the Communist Chinese Government knowingly allows the chemicals to make fentanyl to be produced in China then shipped to the Mexican drug cartels. Keep in mind, the Communist Chinese Government is an Uber-surveillance state that has tens of millions of CCTV cameras blanketing China so it knows who is making the chemical precursors to fentanyl, where those chemicals are being made, the quantities being made, and to whom those chemicals are being sent globally. If the Communist Chinese Government wanted to stop the fentanyl chemicals from being sent to the Mexican drug cartels, it could do so easily, thereby cutting off the supply of fentanyl that is killing 100,000+ Americans annually.
Next, the Mexican government allows the Mexican drug cartels to receive the chemicals from Communist China, make the fentanyl, and transport it to and across the southern U.S. border. Due to corruption from the bottom to the top of the Mexican Government and local law enforcement, little is done to slow down or stop the Mexican drug cartels from operating freely across Mexico. It likely is harder to get the money made selling fentanyl in America back across the southern U.S. border than it is to get the fentanyl over in the first place.
Finally, Joe Biden and his inept Administration led by impeached U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro “Ali” Mayorkas facilitate the transport of the fentanyl (and other drugs, trafficked humans, migrants, rapists and murderers, and terrorists) across our border by its unilateral dismantling of all of the Trump Administration actions that had largely secured the southern U.S. border. It is a simple fact that fewer Americans would be dead today had Biden et al. left the Trump Administration’s policies in place over the last 3.5 years.
What should be done to hold these three entities accountable for their acts and omissions?
First, as I wrote in July 2017 in U.S. News and World Report, the U.S. should declare war on the Mexican drug cartels and indirectly Mexico so the U.S. military can be brought to bear fully against this scourge. As I talked about during my exploratory run for Ohio Governor, more Americans have died due to fentanyl from Mexico and China than all U.S. wars combined. If ever there was a legitimate reason to go to war, it would be to defend our border, sovereignty, and citizens from this assault. We should spare no expense or weaponry to eradicate the Mexican drug cartels once and for all, including tactical nuclear weapons.
Secondly, as it did to Saudi Arabia after the 9/11 terrorist attack, Congress should pass a law limiting the immunity of both Mexico and China so that states, localities, tribal nations, and individuals can sue those countries for their acts and omissions regarding fentanyl. America and its citizens need to be made whole by those two countries. Limiting their immunity would be a solid step in that direction. The same actions also should apply to China re the COVID virus and pandemic that killed over 1.1 million Americans.
Thirdly, a freeze should be placed on all remittances to China and Mexico coming from America. For Mexico, the $60+ billion in remittances sent back every year are a top economic driver in Mexico, so freezing these funds will hurt Mexico severely. Only then will the corrupt Mexican Government seriously act to stop the Mexican drug cartels.
Fourthly, the U.S. should implement readmission accords with every country in which those countries agree to take back their citizens apprehended trying to illegally come or stay in America. Refusal to agree to these readmission accords should be met with a 100% ban on all diplomats and their families from whatever countries refuse to sign the readmissions accords, as well as travel bans to and from those countries to deprive their citizens of travel to America and to deprive their countries of U.S. tourism dollars. The same ban should apply to China re education visas for their citizens until we get accountability over fentanyl and the COVID virus. These agreements will facilitate the removal of the ten million plus illegals immigrants who Biden allowed into America and hold China’s feet to the fire over the pandemic.
As for Biden, the best way to hold him and his wholly ineffective team accountable is to vote him out of office in November.
Given that Democrats set the precedent that ex-officials can still be impeached and subjected to a trial in the U.S. Senate, if Republicans hold the U.S. House later this year, it should impeach Biden on numerous counts, including his reckless actions involving the southern U.S. border. If Republicans take the U.S. Senate back in November, it should hold Biden’s and Mayorkas’s impeachment trials in early 2025. Both men should be financially bled as much as possible exactly as the Democrats did to Trump and his team over the last seven years.
Mayorkas, one of the worst and prolific lying Cabinet secretaries in American history, also deserves to be personally sued in every capacity possible by as many states and local governments, individuals, and estates the moment his tenure and government protection ends. He should be forced to spend tens of millions on lawyers to defend himself in hundreds of legal cases in hundreds of jurisdictions across America for the death and destruction his acts and omissions caused to so many Americans.
How many more Americans will die, be maimed, or raped before our leaders get serious about dealing with China and Mexico? Between fentanyl and the COVID virus, nearly 2.5 million Americans have died since 2010. Enough is enough.
I very much approve of the idea to hold these governments accountable by banning travel to and from them, and shutting down diplomatic and educational exchange programs.
The number of deaths is absolutely staggering.
