America Is Facing an Epidemic of Teachers Sexually Assaulting and Abusing Students
We simply would never tolerate the level of abuse issued at the hands of female teachers against male students if the sexes were reversed.
Beginning at the end of October 2023, I started a thread on Twitter about teachers getting caught sexually assaulting and abusing students when I noticed several teachers being arrested over the course of a couple of weeks. I would add to the thread each time my Twitter feed contained another arrest of a teacher. Little did I know the thread would grow in just six months to over forty-eight tweets taking over one minute to record (see the video of the thread below). That averages roughly eight teachers busted every month over the six month period. The most shocking part of the thread is that the teachers getting arrested for sexually assaulting and abusing students are ALL women.
It goes without saying that male teachers also are busted sexually assaulting and abusing students, but, based on my Twitter feed, not in the numbers remotely close to the female teachers arrested. Now, if we are being honest, there would be national media stories and outrage if all of the perpetrators in my Twitter feed were male teachers sexually assaulting and abusing female students (see Larry Nassar’s case involving female gymnasts). Yet, there isn’t. Not one story. Not one congressional hearing. Not one protest calling for far stiffing penalties for teachers who sexually assault and abuse our kids. I’m the only one who has made noise about this epidemic in America.
Part of the problem, of course, is there is a Van Halen-esque “Hot for Teacher” component when it comes to female teachers having sex with male students. As my thread points out, French First Lady Brigitte Macron was a 40-year-old married teacher with kids when she started having sexual relations with 15-year-old future French President Emmanuel Macron. Hell, current global goddess Taylor Swift was 23-years-old when she started dating high school student Conor Kennedy (those Kennedy men…), yet instead of being shunned for robbing the cradle she is heralded as the second coming of Sheena.
For lots of good reasons, America has put teachers up on a pedestal as the underpaid (no longer true) and overworked (not true since collective bargaining limited the school day to 7.5 hours and the school year to no more than 185 days, which equals less than 1,400 work hours compared to the average American workload of 2,080 hours) heroes of society. The problem is, however, too many of America’s classrooms are populated by far too many unqualified (don’t understand basic math or English), ineffective (can teach well or lose effectiveness around year fourteen), or sexually deviant teachers (see my Twitter thread). If I could clone my younger sister who is the rare teacher who after more than twenty-five years still works tirelessly nights and weekends to get all of her kids to meet required grade-level competencies, then I would and the American education system would be saved.
Alas, I can’t.
At some point, America needs to seriously deal with the growing number of female teachers who are sexually assaulting and abusing students. The bias female teachers experience when they engage in sexual acts with students is wrong. We simply would never tolerate the level of abuse issued at the hands of female teachers against male students if the sexes were reversed. I can’t begin to fathom why so many female teachers — many married with kids — sexually assault and abuse their students, but it needs to stop no matter what Van Halen fans think.

P.S. The Chinese government has a practice in which it believes that if China suffers a fall their enemies and opponents should suffer a similar fall so that China maintains its place in the rankings. Some believe that is why it allowed the Wuhan virus to escape China by keeping international travel out of Hubei Province open for two months after the government had shut down all domestic travel from there. As the chart above shows, if that was China's aim, it failed miserably, as America’s GDP has grown while China’s has shrunk. China lost ground to the U.S. after the pandemic. Turns out a communist command and controlled economy isn’t truly a viable and competitive economic policy compared to limited government and free markets—not that America’s economy is as limited and as free as it used to and should be.
