What Will Happen to America If the Left Packs the U.S. Supreme Court and Adds Two Left-Wing States (With Four Left-Wing U.S. Senators)?

Progressive aren’t progressing. They are trying to take America back to when we were controlled by the ruling elite.

You know there is something deeply wrong with America when the Left and Right cannot agree on something as good as reducing crime and saving lives. Take Memphis, which had the highest violent crime rate in America in 2023. Donald Trump sent in the National Guard and, instead of fighting their presence, Memphis Mayor Paul Young agreed to work with them. After just a couple of months, nearly 7,400 criminals have been removed from the streets resulting in a 43% reduction in crime and 150 kids being rescued from trafficking gangs. Homicides are down 35%, shootings are down 40%, robberies are down 51%, and car thefts are down 80%, which means Americans are alive and uninjured who otherwise would have been killed or hurt by the apprehended criminals. One would think we could all agree such a huge cut in crime in less than one year is a good thing that should be applauded.

Nope. If you are on the Left, you will dismiss the results because otherwise you’d have to credit Trump, which is something you just cannot do. He is Hitler-Stalin-Pol Pot-Satan all rolled up into one man, so everything he does is, well, evil.

I leave you with what I think is one of the greatest presidential quotes in American history made by one of my favorites presidents, Calvin Coolidge, on America’s 150th birthday. Coolidge stated:

If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people.

Keep that quote in mind as progressives defend the two tiers of justice based on a party registration, as they tell you your right to speak and bear arms should be limited, and as they claim that rule by centralized experts in Washington, D.C., is better than rule by the people closest to their homes. Progressive aren’t progressing. They are trying to take America back to when we were controlled by the ruling elite. When they do what Carville implores them to do by packing the U.S. Supreme Court to ensure the unconstitutional laws they seek to pass are deemed constitutional (and Red state laws are not) and by adding new states to permanently lock in their control of the federal government, don’t think that just because we don’t have a king to bow to that we will still have a representative democracy. The moment progressives take those actions, the American experiment will be over.

P.S. Back in mid-February, I wrote the blurb below in one of my columns. Well, the Columbus Dispatch reported earlier this week that Dublin City Schools (DCS) Superintendent John Marshausen is one of two finalist for the ESC of Columbus job, so one of my predictions has come true. Based on the scuttlebutt coming out of DCS world, it looks like DCS Board Member Chris Valentine won’t be running for re-election in 2027, so that makes me two for two. Not bad for not being Nostradamus:-)
