In other news, Honda yesterday announced it was nixing another large electric vehicle (EV) battery-powered SUV in the Acura line due to lack of demand and elimination of subsidies for EV car buyers in the recently passed budget bill. As I’ve discussed previously re the cancellation of the Honda EV SUV, this news cannot be good for the joint LG Energy Solutions-Honda EV battery plan in Fayette County, Ohio.
