Let’s Remember Jesse Jackson In Full As We Do Other Famous People
Plus, Hollywood's ridiculous attempts to revise FICTIONAL history to assuage its conscience should just stop. The "Silence of the Lambs" serial killer was transgender.
When Charlie Kirk was assassinated, the media couldn’t talk about him without throwing out a grossly misrepresented clip in which Kirk talked about shootings and guns. When William Buckley died in 2008, the media made sure to include anything he did that they deemed wrong. And when Ronald Reagan died in 2004, media reports of his passing couldn’t resist mentioning the Iran Contra scandal or inferring Reagan suffered from Alzheimer’s during his presidency. I raise these examples because the media never misses a chance to detail the flaws of those on the Right when they die. While I don’t think coverage of Jesse Jackson’s death should focus on his human flaws, I do believe failing to note his flaws is an intentional effort to scrub them. As humans, we are all flawed. If the media must highlight the flaws of those who pass on the Right, it should do so for those on the Left, as well.
