A Plea to Dublin City Council and Dublin Police: Do Something Before Someone Gets Hurt or Killed
It looks like the big BLS revisions I’ve talked about that occur every February have pushed Ohio’s private sector job growth from around 58,000 jobs in 2025 to a paltry 19,000 jobs. That is bad.
Watch the video below in which I discuss the urgent need for Dublin City Council and the Dublin Police to do something about the reckless kids on their scooters/e-bikes/motorbikes speeding around Dublin walking paths. Injuries and deaths have happened in other communities that failed to get control of kids riding carelessly on devices that go far faster than they should be going. Same goes for the failure to enforce noise ordinances and speed limits through Bridge Park. Let’s make sure Dublin is as safe for its residents and visitors as possible.
As I discuss below, I’ll do a more extensive written post once the final data is released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), but it looks like the big BLS revisions I’ve talked about that occur every February have pushed Ohio’s private sector job growth from around 58,000 jobs in 2025 to a paltry 19,000 jobs. Neither number is good, but the latter number is plain ugly for a state of 11.8 million people. I’ll go into details later this week on the numbers and how they represent utter failure by JobsOhio after being in business for fifteen years.
